Mechanical & Electrical

MGPM have a full understanding of the Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) elements of the project from design and procurement through to installation and maintenance. This knowledge enables us to consider the relevant options and to work alongside specialist consultants and contractors to move forward with design and installation.

As well as managing M&E installations MGPM understand the requirement for safe access and the coordination to allow all the services to fit within the often limited spaces available. As Project Managers we are able to interpret information to ensure services are working with each other and with the building and that these fit seamlessly with the design.

Air Conditioning – From small individual installations to large complex systems which interface with landlords supplies. We have worked with client appointed contractors and consultants as well as building a contact base with specialists that have proven experience and knowledge.

Electrical – We have vast experience of managing electrical design and installation including working with consultants and contractors on everything from small residential refits to full commercial fit-outs. We can assist with all aspects including power, lighting, specialist design and life safety systems.

Sprinklers – We can assist with the Client’s and landlord’s requirements including LPCB cover, sprinkler head specification and particular needs such as stock racking cover.

Plumbing – MGPM can help with effective designs and installations, control of work on site and necessary testing and certifications.

​

Lifts and Escalators – MGPM have extensive experience with the often difficult choice and installation of vertical circulation. We work alongside specialist consultants and contractors who can design, specify, install and maintain all kinds of lifts and escalators. We have particular experience with incorporating these elements into the project including any necessary structural work required.

Other Systems – Modern buildings require a multitude of installations including BMS controls, security systems, audio visual, people counters etc. MGPM can co-ordinate and manage the Client’s direct contractors into the project or procure directly.

Supplies & Metering – Dealing with Statutory Authorities can be time consuming and difficult. MGPM have developed a system for meter and services ordering that permits the process to be dealt with effectively.
